La Dolfina + Combo
La Dolfina is a prestigious clothing brand that was born in 2004 as a parallel project from the polo team of the same name. The brand promise was to experiment the polo as a lifestyle, a way of thinking and of doing things. The brand project was to do of this values a tangible product: clothes.
In Combo we implemented a brand strategy to reposition La Dolfina and develop the tools to the launch of the new store.
How did we get started?
La Dolfina already had stores in the city (Alvear Aveneu, Patio Bullrich and Puerto Madero), in the province (La Plata, Rosario and Mendoza) and in foreign countries (Chile); but they needed it to be prepare for a new launch in the Patio Bullrich Shopping, a launch that will give a spin in the brand“s evolution and would present a new image and brand voice.
What were we looking for?
Our aim was to run the broad range of attributes that makes La Dolfina a unique brand because of its genuine personality. On the other hand, the new store, the launching of the spring/summer collection and the design of the limited edition shirts called "Prócer", were some of the news that we took in account in the brand“s communication.
Another aim was to position La Dolfina inside the polo market as a brand powered by real players, a brand that doesn“t need to sell an image of something that is not, but that shows the real essence of the sport and the lifestyle.
How did we do it?
We designed the new look & feel of the brand following the objective of showing the brand“s attributes: we showed what it means to live the polo, to dedicate to it with expertice, to play with conviction and bet all, in the field and in life. We recovered the story that unites a player to a horse, the importance of the family and the country, we told a story with history: the one that talks about a group of heroes, about an authentic brand, and about the knowledge“s value.
Besides the web site, we designed the image of the new store and the tags that go with the Prócer collection.
What did we achieve?
We made of La Dolfina a brand that positions itself as a leader inside the polo market, not only because of its sophistication and high quality in the design, but also because of the values that radiates and the philosophy that promotes. A genuine brand that speaks in a transparent way, a brand that doesn“t need to convince with a speech because it has a lot to show. |
